Launch an online shop and sell through WhatsApp in minutes.

Dukani gives each Tanzanian shop its own online store, and lists every shop in one shared marketplace. A seller adds a product with three details and gets a link, a QR code and a ready-to-send WhatsApp message. Buyers check out as guests with a phone number and pay by mobile money, card or cash on delivery.

Who it’s for
Small and mid-size Tanzanian shop owners and online sellers who take most orders through WhatsApp.
The problem it solves

Sellers lose sales because taking orders in chat is slow and hard to track, and buyers give up on long checkouts. Dukani turns a chat into a quick order with payment, and nudges buyers who didn’t finish paying.

What it does
01
Quick product add

A name, a price and a photo are enough, and the product is live.

02
Share links and QR codes

Each product, or a basket of products, gets a link, a QR code and a ready-to-send WhatsApp message.

03
One-step guest checkout

Buyers give a name, phone number and location only, and tapping twice never charges them twice.

04
Pay your way

Airtel Money, M-Pesa, Mixx by Yas, Halotel, cards and QR, or cash on delivery.

05
Unfinished-order reminders

Buyers who agreed to WhatsApp messages get a payment reminder, at most once an hour.

06
A shared marketplace

Shoppers search every store, with ratings, verification badges and moderation.

07
A full seller toolkit

Orders, stock, discounts, campaigns, customers, staff, wallet and withdrawals, and reports, in Swahili and English.
