Winga Hub is a marketplace and delivery platform for Tanzania’s informal traders, called Mawinga. A trader posts what they need, suppliers reply with prices, and riders deliver the goods. Each trader also gets a shareable online shop.
Traders walk long distances to find stock and keep no digital records. Suppliers can’t reach active sellers, and customers fear online scams and can’t track their deliveries.
A trader posts “I need this product” and suppliers send back quotes.
Each trader gets a public shop that customers can visit and share.
Suppliers keep an inventory, answer requests and broadcast products to traders.
Riders accept jobs and move them from pickup to delivered, with a map and a fee worked out from the distance.
